CLF-2 ~ CLF-40
CLF‑Type Coarse‑Particle Flotation Machine
Application range
Separation of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals and chemical raw materials
Product advantages
- Suitable for separation of both coarse-grained and fine-grained fractions, realizing full-size-range flotation
- Adopts a new-style impeller-stator system with forced-circulation channels, false bottom and grid plates
- Production specification range: 2 m³ – 40 m³
- Effective volume range: 2 m³ – 40 m³
Performance features
- 1The novel impeller-stator system with an innovative pulp circulation mode enables coarse minerals to be suspended in the middle zone of the cell at a relatively low impeller peripheral speed
- 2Achieves flotation for both coarse and fine mineral particles. Coarse minerals undergo steady mineralization in the middle part of the cell, while the circulating pulp returning to the impeller features low concentration and fine particle size, benefiting flotation of both coarse and fine particles
- 3A steady upward pulp flow is generated inside the cell, facilitating the upward float of mineralized froth attached with coarse minerals and greatly reducing the detachment rate between coarse minerals and bubbles
- 4Low power consumption and low wear. Thanks to the low impeller peripheral speed and low concentration of circulating pulp returning to the impeller, the wear of impeller and stator is significantly reduced with low power consumption
- 5Stable separation performance. The large clearance between impeller and stator ensures little change in aeration and air distribution even as impeller and stator wear, providing favorable conditions for stable separation indicators
- 6The grid plate forms a stable suspension layer for coarse particles. Its special structure reduces turbulence in the upper cell zone (flotation-separation layer), greatly improving coarse-particle flotation performance
- 7Large aeration volume and stable liquid level, conducive to the upward floating of coarse particles
- 8Available in suction-feed cell and open-flow cell types. Units can be arranged at the same elevation without froth pumps for middling return
- 9Can treat coarse minerals with particle size up to 1 mm without sand-settling at cell bottom
- 10Upon customer request, an automatic control system for pulp level and aeration rate can be equipped for easy operation and adjustment
Working principle
Based on the differences in physico-chemical properties of mineral surfaces, valuable minerals are separated by agitation and aeration to obtain target minerals.
